• Is there a general obligation to wear masks in the hotel?

All guests over the age of 6 wear a medical mask indoors (guests up to and including the age of 5 are exempt from the mask requirement, from three months after the 12th birthday FFP2 masks are worn).

• Is it possible to stay without a mask with a medical certificate?

If it is not possible to wear a mouth and nose cover for medical reasons, we must ask you to postpone your stay out of consideration for our other guests. It is not possible to stay without wearing a mouth and nose cover.

• Do I have to test myself regularly for Covid-19 during my stay?

Vaccinated and recovered guests do not need to be tested additionally during their stay. Nevertheless, we recommend that you voluntarily use one of the test stations in Bad Reichenhall and have yourself tested regularly with a PoC antigen quick test. Children between the ages of 6 and 12 must have a rapid antigen test every 72 hours. We would be happy to reserve an appointment for you.

• Where can I do a PCR test?

There are a few test stations in Bad Reichenhall. The addresses, including opening times, can be found on the website of the Berchtesgadener Land district office.

• What happens if the test is positive?

If an infection with the corona virus occurs, medical care is provided by a specialist. The organization of the fastest possible and safe return journey by our team is guaranteed.

• Are employees tested regularly?

All our employees are vaccinated or recovered. In addition, all employees undergo a rapid antigen test several times a week.

​

• What additional hygiene measures are you taking in the rooms?

Our hygiene standard is at a high level throughout the hotel. All rooms are disinfected using a certified process based on a mineral and compatible spray mist. As far as room cleaning (daily and final cleaning) is concerned, the ladies and gentlemen work with mouth-nose masks and clean and disinfect surfaces even more intensively. The cleaning and disinfection of towels and bed linen takes place in an external laundry, so the highest hygiene standards can be guaranteed.

• Is the room cleaning by the cleaning staff questionable (risk of infection)?

No, our housekeepers all work with a face mask and gloves, which they change after each room cleaning. All employees are of course tested regularly and at frequent intervals.

• Is the restaurant open?

Our restaurant in the hotel is open during the usual opening times. All areas of the restaurant are adequately ventilated at regular intervals. Except at the table, all guests from the age of 6 wear an approved mouth and nose cover. You are welcome to reserve your table in advance by phone, email or with a member of staff.

• Are there any restrictions in the restaurant area?

No significant restrictions await you in the restaurant area. Our tables are occupied according to the minimum distance, but we will be happy to organize a separate table for you in another room on request.

• Can meals also be taken in the rooms?

Guests from risk groups can have their meals in their room or suite thanks to an extended room service offer (breakfast and dinner).

• Is there a buffet for breakfast?

You can serve yourself at the breakfast buffet as usual. However, we ask you to keep your distance and to take a new disposable glove with every visit to the buffet.

• Is the spa open?

Unfortunately, due to the current Covid-19 measures, we had to close our pool. We take this as an opportunity to renew our entire wellness area.

We are currently in the middle of planning to develop and implement a completely new concept for you.

During the time until the renovation in early 2022, you can of course use our Finnish sauna and infrared heat cabin at any time.

• Is it possible to get massages and other treatments?

Massages, physiotherapy and manual treatments are allowed. Our physiotherapist Michi will advise you at any time. We would be happy to book cosmetic treatments for you at a cosmetic institute in the city. All treatments are carried out with a mouth-nose mask and thorough disinfection
